Digital Misfitz events have been running since early 2008 and are promoted by Suzanne FitzGerald. Having left agency production to set up her own production company, Moo Pictures, she realised that the constant changes in digital technology were hard to keep on top of for busy advertising professionals so she gathered interesting speakers who are top of their field to do short talks. These evening events have been free to enter and have proven very popular within the broader advertising industry. The idea across all of the events is the sharing of information for the benefit of all in the Advertising, Public Relations and Marketing industries.
