1. Red Camera

September 26, 2008 by Suzanne FitzGerald

Having just completed shooting with the Red camera with Moo Pictures, I thought I’d post a link to an article on it from Wired magazine which is really informative about the camera. I thought it’s really useful for anyone involved in filming.

The director on the job is Hugh O’Conor and the DOP was Ruairí O’Brien. We’re posting it right now and really happy with the results so far.

Well, that’s my blog update today. I’ll keep in touch about the next event which is looking like mid-October. Just a few thing to confirm before I post more details.

    Cheers, Suzanne

  2. Blog update

September 5, 2008 by Suzanne FitzGerald

I’m still getting the hang of the blogging thing, hence the big gaps between postings.  But it’s also been a busy month or so since the last one.

I’m still tying down dates and people for the next Digital Misfitz event, but it will be in early October in the Odessa Club again.  I still plan to have the topic on Mobile Advertising.  I was recently at a talk on Mobile Technology and while it is a medium-to-long-term opportunity, the solutions are like something out of a Sci-Fi film.  The pace at which technology is developing is sometimes scary, but if you don’t keep up you’re just left in the dark.
I’ve really been making the most of being based in the Media Cube.  The information flow, which is more tidal wave-like, has been brilliant.  There are some excellent business ideas that are being developed by creative/technical entrepreneurs which would blow your mind to see.  I think I might have a night of new ideas in Digital Misfitz, and have people pitch their new ideas to you and get feedback.  It could be an interesting forum to get the brain juices flowing!
Anyway, that’s it for this miserably wet Friday.  I’ll post the Moo newsletter here early next week so you can have a read of what’s going on in Moo Pictures.  There have been some dramatic changes over the last few months which I hope you’ll enjoy.
    Cheers,
    Suzanne
