1. Relationship Building Night A Great Success

    April 6, 2011 by admin

We were treated last night to a rare insight into seeing start to end strategy and implementation of creative for one of the largest brands in the country.  It was a full house and there was a real buzz in the room.

The evening was kicked of by Neil Leyden who talked about the venue, Gateway House, and gave an overview of the project that is coming out of there.  More will be revealed in a few weeks and we will be able to share it with you on the Digital Misfitz facebook page as soon as we can.

There was a common theme in the three-hander presentation from Jonnie Cahill, O2, Kay McCarthy, MCCP and Darren McGrath, Brando as they all work on the O2 brand.  They talked about a range of ideas and topics including brand DNA and what’s important to customers; brands need to go one step further in order to solve a higher need for the customer;  brand facilitation is about enabling and brand participation is about engaging.

We were shown a few of videos during the presentation which are worth sharing. First up from Kay was Nike Chalkbot:

Darren shared Coke Happiness with us:

The main talk was around the O2 brand and how they operate in the ever changing digital landscape and how they adapt and change and put their customer first. A video for the successful ‘Be The Difference Campaign’ was shown and discussed in detail.

The videos will be uploaded to the Digital Misfitz facebook page in the next couple of days.  You’ll be able to hear all that the speakers shared with us in detail.

A big thanks to our speakers who shared their information and insights with us all.

Also thanks to our sponsors who made the event possible.
